Errata

The current issue of the magazine has a mistake. The second event reviewed for "Sequins of Events" has an erroneous heading. The event is actually the gala show for Su'ad and Farasha's Master Teacher workshop, featuring Morocco and Amel Talsouf. We apologize for the error.

The Google malware warning

Many of you have emailed me about a malware warning you received when you Googled this site. Thank you very much for taking the time to tell me about this - I appreciate it. I was actually the first to know - Google has great Webmaster tools, and I was notified when the Google search engine first found some malware on the site. The malware - actually a redirect to another site, not a Trojan as some of you feared - was deleted from the site and I tightened up security on the site. However, Google has not been quick to remove the warning, even though I actively re-submitted the site to the search engine. So, please be assured that I know about the problem, took corrective actions, and continue to monitor the site for any recurrence of the problem. So you don't get the warning repeatedly, I recommend that you bookmark the site in your favorites list (there's a shortcut for this in the right-hand panel on this page) so you don't have to use Google to find it. :-)
